8 Years for Jihadist Kidnapper Who Couldn't Get Victim

The Central District Court sentenced a resident of the central Israeli Arab city of Kalansuwa, Monday, to eight years in prison for taking part in an Islamic Jihad plot to kidnap an Israeli and take the victim to the Samarian (Shomron) Palestinian Authority city of Jenin. An Islamic Jihad terrorist had helped the defendant pay off his debts and gave him more money after he promised to take part.

The terrorist brought the defendant together with other people with similar intents who agreed to tie up a potential victim and leave the victim in the car. They travelled together but could not find anyone who would get in the car.
