The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange opened Monday-morning trading with slight losses in mixed trading. Just before 11: 00 a.m., the TA Composite Index stood at 1,250.58, down .04 percent from Sunday's close, while the same percentage decline meant a posting of 1,250.09 for the TA 100, including a drop of .06 percent to 1,385.23 for the TA 25 most-widely-invested issues. The stocks outside the TA 100 stood at 1,068.69, down .15 percent.
Leading the gainers was the bank index, which rose .47 percent to 1,291.68 as the financial institutions stood at 1,247.88, up a tenth of a percent, including a drop of .34 percent to 1,508.75 by the insurance issues. The biomed stocks stood at 908.74, up two tenths of a percent, while the rest of the technology index advanced .18 percent to 337.35 and the communications index stood at 797.58, up .11 percent. The real-estate index fell .16 percent to 392.83, while the oil and natural-gas index stood at 1,357.59, down .17 percent.
