Appeal of Razing Terrorist's Brother's Home on Docket

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hold a hearing, Monday, on a petition against the destruction of the house belonging to the brother of Ziyad Awad, who is charged with murdering senior police officer Baruch Mizrahi on the eve of the Passover holiday.

The Israel Defense Forces intend to demolish the half of the home in the southern Hevron hills where Awad's family lived. The Hotline for Protection of the Individual (Mamoked Lahaganat Haprat in Hebrew) is seeking a temporary restraining order against the demolition in the name of the brother.
