Gasoline Prices to Go Up 1.33% in July

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Energy and Water announced, Sunday, that the government-controlled price of gasoline will go up 1.33 percent at midnight on Monday evening, predicated by price hikes around the world.

The maximum self-service price for 95-octane unleaded will be 7.62 shekels a liter ($8.32 a gallon), up 10 agorot from June, in most parts of the country, where value-added (sales) tax is charged. An additional 18 agorot per liter brings the full-service price to NIS 7.80 per liter ($8.52 per gallon). In Eilat, where VAT is not charged, the self-serve price will be 6.46 shekels a liter ($7.05 a gallon), up eight agorot.
