UN Security Council Attempt to Censure Israel Defeated

The Security Council of the United Nations defeated, Thursday afternoon, an attempt by Arab and Muslim nations to condemn Israel for its steps ot safely recover abducted teens Eyal Yifrah, Naftali Frenkel and Gil-Ad Sha'er, abducted two weeks ago. The coalition that sought the condemnation included Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and Qatar.

It was the second such attempt this week. On Monday, the council did not succeed in formulating wording to condemn Israel for Palestinian Authority deaths during Operation Brother's Keeper.
