Russia Granted Permission to Aid to Syrian Citizens

Russia announced that it received permission from Syria to open four border crossings from Iraq, Jordan and Turkey, in order to provide humanitarian aid to millions of people in the country (Syria).

Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, refused to give over details regarding the agreement, but diplomats said that international supervisors will inspect aid transports entering Syrian soil.
