UN Sec. Gen. Spokesperson: No Proof Boys Were Taken Captive

A spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary General was quoted on Kol Israel radio saying that the organization has no concrete proof that the three Israeli yeshiva (Torah academy) high school boys were taken captive by terrorists.

The spokesperson said that the United nations does not have an independent investigative team that can confirm that an abduction indeed took place. That being said, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon did condemn the abduction last Saturday and even indicated that two of the captives are minors.
