Mass Prayers in Religious Schools for Safe Return of Boys

Roughly 300,000 students learning in public religious schools will pause from their studies at 11:30 a.m. and join together in a large-scale prayer initiative broadcasted live on Arutz Sheva from the “Mekor Chaim” yeshiva (Torah academy) high school. The gathering is scheduled in order to pray for the safe release of Gilad Sha’ar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yifrah, who were abducted by terrorists on Thursday.

The mass prayer will take place for roughly half an hour and will be attended by Israel’s Chief Rabbis, Rabbi Dov Singer, the head of the “Mekor Chaim” yeshiva, and the management of Israel’s national-religious education system.
