Chief Rabbi Expects Pope to Get Involved in Abduction Case

Chief Rabbi Lau sent a letter to Pope Francis on Saturday night, in light of the abduction of the three yeshiva (Torah academy) high school students by terrorists in Judea and Samaria.

“You were here but two weeks ago and called to both nations to act towards achieving peace in our land. I expect your involvement and your call to the heads of the Palestinian Authority to take immediate action to release the captured Jewish youths,” Rabbi Lau wrote.
