Housing Bids Sell Out in J'm, Be'er Sheva', Kfar Yonah

Winning bids were accepted, Sunday, for housing projects in Jerusalem, Be'er Sheva' and Kfar Yonah, east of Netanya. The largest bloc of dwelling units is planned for Kfar Yonah (499), with 387 planned for Jerusalem and 150 in Be'er Sheva'.

Housing Minister Uri Ariel said, "The developers understand that the target price and zero tax rate programs will increase the volume of construction and market value, but also less expensive new apartments." He said Sunday's results and recent bids for thousands of units around the country have expressed the construction industry's confidence in programs for less expensive housing.
