Holyland Sentencing Delayed

Tel Aviv District Court Judge David Rosen announced, Monday morning, that the sentencing of former Jerusalem mayor Uri Lupolianski and former City Council Member Avraham Feiner in the Holyland corruption case was postponed.

Sentencing of the two was separated from the rest of the defendants to allow a medical evaluation of their ability to do prison time or community service. Attorneys for Lupolianski asked, Sunday evening, that the sentencing take place in their client's absence, after he was admitted to a Jerusalem hospital.
