Dozens of people demonstrated, Sunday evening opposite the Prime Minister's Residence, in protest of cuts to child-support payments. Activist Riki Cohen said, "Harming child support harms the children's future and children's rights." She added, "Every day we try to survive and there's no response from the government or the Knesset to eliminate poverty and restore the poverty stipends."
Yehuda Aloush of Be'er Sheva', who came north especially for the protest, told Arutz Sheva, "A government that gobbles up the bread and milk of the children has no right to exist. It's not humane and not Jewish."
