Israeli police raided the east Jerusalem studios of Palestinian Authority (PA) TV on Friday and briefly detained three staff for questioning, according to a police spokeswoman cited by Agence France Presse. Spokeswoman Luba Samri told AFP, "Police carried out searches at the headquarters of the television channel, as part of an investigation into the content of its programs." Kol Yisrael government radio said police suspected the station of broadcasting incitements to violence.
Samri also told AFP, "Three employees were arrested, questioned and released," adding that "no programs were interrupted and the investigation is ongoing." A PA media report online said the detainees were two cameramen and one guest on the channel's "Good Morning Jerusalem" show.
