Bar-Ilan Conference to Bring Judaism to General Public

Bar-Ilan University of Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv, is scheduled to hold a conference on Judaism starting Sunday afternoon and running until Thursday evening. Professor Eli Assis, who heads the Jewish Sciences faculty at the school, told Arutz Sheva that the goal of the conference is to bring academia and its writings to the general public.

In addition to sessions on the Bible, Hasidut, Jewish philosophy and history, Talmud, Jewish law and more, there will be an active learning session and concert each day. The afternoon and evening hours were chosen to give working people a better chance to attend.
