Peres to Call for Separation of Religion and Terror

President Shim'on Peres will call, Sunday, for leaders of all religions to work together to denounce terrorism and make a firm statement that religion is not to be used for bloodshed and terror. His words at a Vatican prayer for peace will put a special stress on the need for interfaith dialogue to promote peace.

The Vatican agreed to a request to hold the prayer session in a garden that does not serve as a place of worship and does not contain any Christian religious symbols. Peres will head a delegation of rabbis, Christians, imams and heads of the Druze community.
