Thai Military Gov’t to Remove Curfew from Tourist Hotspots

Thailand’s military government announced it was removing its nighttime curfew from a number of tourist locations, including Phuket and Pattaya beaches. The government had instilled a nighttime curfew from midnight until 4:00 a.m. after May 22nd, revolution.

“The curfew will be removed so that the tourist industry is not adversely affected,” the government announced. The government did not include the capital city of Bangkok among those sites newly freed of curfew.
