Discrimination in El'ad School Registration Fought

The Ministry of Education has cancelled registration for the Beit Ya'akov school for hareidi girls in the eastern Tel Aviv  suburb of El'ad and will repeat the process under its supervision, subject to a hearing on complaints of discrimination between Ashkenazic and Sephardic candidates, according to a Monday-morning report by Israel Defense Forces Radio. An attorney said he would petition the Supreme Court if the girls who were discriminated against are not enrolled.
