Gov’t Approves Tzachi Hanegbi as New Deputy Foreign Minister

This morning (Sunday), the government accepted Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s request to appoint MK Tzachi Hanegbi to the position of Deputy Foreign Minister. The appointment process will conclude tomorrow with the brining of the decision before the Knesset for final approval.

Hanegbi, currently visiting New York City as the head of the Knesset’s envoy attending the annual Israel Day Parade, said that he is excited and that the appointment closes a 30-year-old circle.
