Gov't to Discuss Bill to Put an End to Terrorist Pardons

The proposal of the bill to end the bequeathing of pardons to terrorists will be brought to the government’s desk today (Sunday). If passed, the law would prevent the possibility for political pardoning of murderers in certain cases, according to the court’s decision.

Economics Minister Naftali Bennett used his Facebook page as a platform to call upon all Ministers of Knesset to support the proposal. “The goal is to regain sanity… to the State of Israel, who has gotten used to the fact that ‘terrorists can be released,’” Bennett wrote.
