PM to Yesha Council Heads: There Are Int’l Constraints

The heads of the Yesha Council met yesterday (Wednesday) with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and asked him to renew construction and marketing of real estate tenders in Judea and Samaria.

Haaretz reported that sources participating in the meeting said that Netanyahu emphasized to the Yesha Council members that he has done much for the region in the last months, “But there are international constraints and you know them well. Everyone is always telling me that the peace process is at a standstill because of Judea and Samaria. I respond to them that this is not the case and that the reason is that the Palestinian Authority refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish State.”
