FIFA President Finds No Reason to Act against Israel

President of the FIFA soccer association, Joseph “Sepp” Blatter, visited Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) on Tuesday, in light of complaints lodged by the PA against Israel and their demands that sanctions be placed against Israel. Despite the complaints, Blatter made it clear that measures will not be taken against Israel.

“Israel is one of the 109 country-members of FIFA,” Blatter said at a press conference before leaving the country. “There is no reason to take any measures against Israel.”
