Prosecution Seeks to File New Evidence against Olmert

The State prosecution filed a request with the Supreme Court to include new evidence against former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert within the framework of the Talansky bribery case.

Within the framework of the plea bargain signed between the State and Shula Zaken, tapes of the former PM and Zaken conversing were presented, which the prosecution believes could lead to Olmert’s conviction, despite his having recently being acquitted.
