MK David Tzur (Hatnua) responded on Sunday night to the shooting attack in Brussels, in which four people were killed, and called for a fight against anti-Semitism.
"It's hard to say we were surprised, since the growing anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel in Europe and the world is fed by constant harassment and delegitmization. The attacks in Toulouse, Brussels, Ukraine and Paris grew out of ignorance, hatred and incitement against Israel and Jews in general," said Tzur.
“We must fight this and not let go," he added. “We must apply pressure and demand that countries take responsibility for their Jewish population and upgrade the security around them. We must invest in enforcement against the inciters and the anti-Semites and educate for equality and justice ... And yet every Jew must know that the State of Israel is the true home for Jews.”
