Ministers OK No Due Notice in Case of Employer Death

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation endorsed, Sunday, an amendment to labor law by Member of Knesset Orit Struk (Jewish Home) that the family of a business owner who dies will not be liable to pay employees for failure to give 30-days notice, as otherwise required by law.

The heirs would still be required to pay severance compensation.
