MK Lavi to Pope: Allow Access to Archived Information

MK Aliza Lavi applauded Pope Francis’s first visit to Israel this morning (Sunday). The MK claimed that “This visit is extremely important, not only for on a present-day dimension, but also, and maybe even most importantly, along a historic dimension.”

Lavi simultaneously requested that the Holy See grant Israel access to archived information about the Vatican’s actions during the Holocaust as well as to Hebrew texts and objects amassed in the Vatican’s basement.
