Honenu: Gush Halav Vandalism Suspects Deny Involvement

The Honenu legal-aid organization said, Friday, that three minors who study at the Od Yoseph Hai yeshiva in the Samarian (Shomron) Jewish community of Yitzhar deny allegations of their involvement in the puncturing of tires of 50 vehicles and the spray painting of a nationalist message in the Galilee Arab village of Jeesh, built on the ruins of the Jewish community of Gush Halav. The youths are also maintaining their right to remain silent.

The remand of the suspects was extended by five days on Thursday. Honenu labeled as circumstantial the evidence on which the prosecutor's statement was based, adding that its legal value had not been ascertained.
