5.6 Magnitude Earthquakes Rocks Western Taiwan

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was felt in Taiwan, the American Geophysics Institute reports. At this time there is no knowledge of casualties or damage incurred by the force of the quake.

The brunt of the earthquake was located near the country’s western shore, about 18 kilometers from the shoreline.
