Bulgarian PM Apologizes for Burgas Attack

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski on Tuesday. The two discussed greater cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, the Bulgarian PM apologized for last year’s attack against a Jewish tour bus in the city of Burgas.

Netanyahu replied, “There is a great friendship between the Bulgarian nation and the Jewish nation. We will always remember the great bravery of many Bulgarians; teachers, priests and spiritual leaders- during the Holocaust.”
