Gov’t Approves Food Importation Reform

The government approved the proposed food importation reform, which is expected to reduce the cost of a variety of food products.

The reform, formulated by CEO of the Prime Minister’s office, Harel Locker, will have Israel adopt the practices of the European Union with respect to food importation, which will allow the Israeli market to open to massive importation of a wide variety of food products.
