Gov’t to Examine Strengthening Ties with Latin America

The government will explore today (Sunday) a decision made to strengthen financial ties between Israel and the ‘Pacific Alliance’ in Latin America.

Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Costa Rico are members of the ‘Pacific Alliance.’ In recent months, CEO of the Prime Minister’s Office, Harel Locker, has led a team which formulated a comprehensive plan regarding this subject. The plan would see 50 million shekels invested over the course of four years, is expected to lead to the opening of two new commercial adjuncts in Chile and Peru, and increase tourism, agricultural cooperation and more.
