Gov’t to Vote on Food Importation Reform

The government will vote today (Sunday) on a new reform for the importation of food into Israel, which is expected to lower the cost of a variety of food products.

The reform, formulated by CEO of the Prime Minister’s office, Harel Locker, will have Israel adopt the existing practices of the European Union with regarding to the importation of food, which will allow Israel to import massive quantities of food products and widen the variety of products brought in.
