Eli Dedicates First Police Station

A police station was dedicated, Wednesday, in the Jewish community of Eli, in the Binyamin-region of Samaria (Shomron), north of Jerusalem.

Chairman Avi Roeh of the Binyamin Regional Council said the event strengthens the relationship between the police and the community, and expressed hope for more such events. Expressing similar sentiments, Deputy Commander David Biton of the Samaria-Judea police noted the district was the second biggest in Israel and the new station in Eli was the 27th community police center in the district. He called on members of the community to be police volunteers.
