Finance Minister Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) explained this morning (Wednesday) why he decided to oppose Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s decision to delay the upcoming presidential elections.
Lapid denied that his opposition is merely political revenge for not having appointed MK Ofer Shelah to the head of the Diplomacy Security Committee. Lapid maintained that “At the end of the day this is a moral qualm. You don’t make such dramatic legislative changes at the last second. I am not out to seek revenge on anyone.”
