Ruling: Google to Erase Contents per Clients’ Requests

The European Union’s (EU) courthouse ruled against internet giant Google, ordering the corporation to erase contents found in its search engine as per cliental requests.

The decision was reached following the claim of a Spanish citizen that Google refused to take down a legal document regarding his home’s foreclosure, found “Via a quick search of the man’s name. Even though the foreclosure was cancelled, the search still infringed upon his privacy.” Google called the ruling, “Disappointing.”
