Doctors Reject Hadassah Plan; will Strike Studies

Doctors at the Hadassah hospitals in Jerusalem repeated, Sunday, last week's rejection of a plan agreed to by hospital trustees and the government for rescuing the financially-strapped institution. Citing a proposal to close the Hadassah hospice as an example, they said there were many proposals they opposed. Starting on Monday, they will strike the hospital's academic arm.

The trustees sought an extension to May 20th of a court order freezing steps against the hospitals.
