Work Accident Leads to Severe Burns, Amputation

A work accident that took place three years ago in a Nazareth Laundromat left an employee with severe burns which later led to the amputation of one of her arms above the elbow.

The Laundromat was accused of several safety-related infractions including not properly educating the staff and securing the machinery. The Laundromat was also slapped with a criminal fine of 25 thousand shekels and an additional 43,600 shekels fine to keep them from making a similar mistake in the future.
