LA Clippers President Takes an Indefinite Leave

The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced on Tuesday that Los Angeles Clippers President Andy Roeser is taking an indefinite leave of absence, effective immediately.

Roeser's leave comes days after the NBA banned club owner Donald Sterling for racist comments. According to the NBA statement quoted by Reuters, Roeser’s leave will “provide an opportunity for a new CEO to begin on a clean slate and for the team to stabilize under difficult circumstances.”
