Report: Arabs Damaged Water Line next to Beit Haggai

The Jewish community of Beit Haggai in the southern Hevron Hills was cut off from its water supply, Tuesday, after Arabs damaged the adjacent water line around 2:00 a.m. Chairman Yohai Damari of the Hevron Hills Council contacted the local brigade commander of the Israel Defense Forces, who promised to help by providing water tankers until the line is repaired.

Beit Haggai is home to more than 100 families and a youth village. The Hevron Hills Council's Spokesperson's Office noted that there were close to 2,000 cases of theft from the area's water line by area Arabs.
