National Director Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League in the United States repeated, Sunday, his condemnation of the so-called "price tag" vandalism, noting that some of the targets are Christian and Muslim religious sites. Calling the acts opposed to Jewish values, Foxman said the perpetrators should be caught, including those who carry out the vandalism and those who incite them.
"Price tag" vandalism started out with the Hebrew words for "price tag" spray-painted on walls next to places where the vandalism took place. It was carried out against Arab, leftist and military targets in response to acts or threats against the Jews of Judea and Samaria (Shomron). Since then the words, always nationalist, of the graffiti have changed.
