The pound sterling was set at 5.8407 shekels, up .027 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .148 percent to NIS 3.3738. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.1535, up .229 percent, while its Australian counterpart rose .056 percent to 3.2064 shekels. The South African rand was set at .3289 shekels, up .03 percent, and the Swedish krona lost .526 percent to NIS .5296.
