Army Mandates Religious Presence in Yitzhar Yeshiva

Colonel Yoav Yarom, Military Commander of Samaria, published a letter of the Yitzhar community secretariat, emphasizing guidelines regarding religious use of the occupied yeshiva (Torah academy) building. The guidelines were established over the past few days, but are now formally in writing.

According to the letter, no more than 50 men can pray in the building at a time, and that the army will establish when prayer services will be held, as well as when the yeshiva’s students can enter the building to learn Torah and other religious subjects.
