Jewish Home to Discuss Threats to Galilee

The Jewish Home party has scheduled an urgent meeting for Monday to discuss recent violence by hostile Arabs in the Galilee. The meeting was prompted by a letter from Datia Yitzhaki, the party's Galilee district chairwoman.

Interviewed by Arutz Sheva, Yitzhaki said the hostile events started years ago in the form of squatting and illegal construction, attacks on shepherds and the theft of equipment, and roadblocks, rock attacks and firebombings have become commonplace. While most of the country celebrates Israel's independence, next week, the hostile Arabs have applied for a permit to hold a Nakba (catastrophe in Arabic) procession in the Lavi Forest.
