Wallenberg Relative to Light Torch in Poland

President Asher Grunis of the Supreme Court is one of six people who are scheduled to light memorial torches, Monday, during the March of the Living at the Birkenau death camp in Poland. Among the 11,000 people taking part in the march will be Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau and Hungarian President János Áder in keeping with the theme of the 70th anniversary of Nazi Germany's attempt to destroy Hungarian Jewry.

Others lighting memorial torches will be Cecilia Hol(m)berg, granddaughter of the brother of Raoul Wallenberg, who saved thousands of Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust, two descendants of Hungarian Holocaust survivors, Director-General Harel Locker of the Prime Minister's Office and Rabbi Eli Avdi of the Safra Center in New York.
