4 Jerusalem Arabs Charged with Firebombings, Stonings

The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the Jerusalem District Court, Sunday, against four 18-year-old residents of the Mount Scopus Arab village of Isawiya, charging them with conspiring with a minor in October 2013 to commit arson, aggravated assault, making and carrying weapons, attempted aggravated assault against a police officer and other offenses.

The charges stem from terrorist firebomb and rock attacks against what they perceived as Jewish targets in the Mount Scopus and French Hill areas, including the cars parked at the Hebrew University, the French Hill community-center's auditorium and a French Hill synagogue. Also cited were attacks on security vehicles which entered the village and the Ofrit army base next to the village.
