The activist group Women in Green for Israel's Tomorrow welcomed, Thursday, the diplomatic-security cabinet's decision to suspend talks with the Palestinian Authority. Women in Green called on the government to apply Israeli sovereignty on Judea and Samaria (Shomron).
Movement leaders Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar said, in a statement, "If the state of Israel returns to sanity, the rest of the world follow." They added, "We hope that the abnormal reality in which we lived until now, a reality of releasing terrorists, of preserving the government of Abu-Mazen [Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas -ed.], of feeding the Hamas Gaza Strip which spits rockets on the residents of southern Israel, will stop now."
