32 Months for Jailer for Passing Phones to Terrorists


The Be'er Sheva' District Court sentenced a Prisons Service jailer to 32 months in prison, Thursday on a plea bargain for passing cellular telephones to security prisoners.

The jailer, a resident of the Negev Bedouin village of Hura, had been charged with a number of offenses, including conspiracy (to receive a bribe), fraud, breach of trust and bringing in a prohibited object.
