Supervisors Confiscate Chametz from Jerusalem Stands

A source from within the Jerusalem Municipality reported that Druze supervisors scouted the Old City of Jerusalem, locating and confiscating chametz (leavened bread) from 20 Arab vendors in the area.

Over the holiday of Passover, all forms of chametz are strictly prohibited. Prior to the onset of the holiday, Jewish vendors were allowed to sell their chametz to non-Jewish sources.
