MK: Jewish Home Exit Means Labor Entrance to Gov't

Member of Knesset Tzahi Hanegbi (Likud Beytenu) warned, Monday, that if Chairman Naftali Bennett pulls the Jewish Home party from the coalition, it will lead the Labor party right in. Bennett has threatened to leave if the government approves the release of Israeli-Arab security prisoners.

Interviewed by the Ma'ariv daily, Hanegbi said the prospect of such a release was not imminent, so Bennett's threat is just an attempt to make the most politically of the deadlock in talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and keep pace with the pronouncements of his main right-wing rival, Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu party.
