Chairman Edward Miliband of the British Labor party was the guest of the Hebrew University's Mount Scopus campus on Thursday. During a question-and-answer session with students, he was asked about rising anti-Semitism in Europe. He said he was very worried about the extremes it can reach, adding that everything must be done to prevent it.
Miliband said he hoped the talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority were not collapsing. He noted there were always difficult moments during talks like this but every effort must be made to continue them, calling dialog important and necessary.
