Jerusalem CBS, Egged Transportation to Remunerate Passengers

The management of Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station (CBS), as well as the Egged transportation company will compensate passengers with tens of thousands of Shekels, due to the severe air pollution in the station.

Jerusalem’s judicial system ruled that the CBS and Egged must take action against passengers coming into contact with the air pollution by means of signage, supervisors and appropriate devices.

The courts denied the defendants’ claims that it is impossible to maintain air purification standards within a closed structure.
